I absolutely LOVE shoots like this. It’s not always easy to capture such real moments, but with some families it just works and when it does it’s such a joy. I hadn’t been to this spot before but I knew that this family walked here often, and that me being there with them was really just a small addition to their usual Sunday routine.
The kids knew the way and showed me around, played superheros and collected stones as their ‘powers’. Barclay, their crazy, super dog had his usual game of sink or swim! Wellies were on, then off. Mud was on faces, shirts, hands.
