We recently decided that it was probably about time to start putting our little collection of vintage cameras to good use. So, at Tom & Vanessa's lovely spring wedding in Hampshire, I decided I would take one of my Canon 8mm film cameras.
Other than a couple of quick tests this was really the first time I'd used it. Being that the camera is 46 years old, it seemed a little risky and perhaps slightly foolish to try this out at a wedding. But off I went, bag all packed with the addition of a couple of Kodak Super 8 cartridges.
We are both big lovers of vintage looking images, film cameras and we are not afraid to go with the grain. Of course we love the quality that modern cameras and software empower us with, but I still believe that analogue film has a cute, romantic charm. Here's a little snippet of our first ever 'Super 8 Keepsake'.
