KATIE & DYLAN - LONDON PRE-WED SHOOT

A couple of weekends ago I met up with Katie & Dylan in TAP, their favourite coffee shop in Soho (I initially resisted a coffee but did pop back for one later in the day and for the record, it was really good!)
Coffee has played a lovely little part in their relationship with Dylan wooing Katie in secret over morning takeaway cups for weeks, so it seemed only fitting to involve it somehow.
We then hopped on the tube to Camden for a stroll along the canal and a wander up to the top of Primrose Hill (by the way if anyone would like to buy me a house there, I'm not fussy about the colour, please feel free).
I know I keep banging on about pre-wed shoots, but I am just in LOVE with them!!

GO ON...

I love shooting pre-weds. There's something so tangible about a couple still in the throws of planning their greatest day. Often even more so than on the day itself. It's that romantic, funny, nervous feeling you get in your tummy. It's butterflies.
I don't think I've met one couple who've said 'Yeah, we can't wait to be photographed!' literally everyone is worried about what to do, where to look, how to touch.
That's the reason I think pre-wed's are so great (ask anyone and they'll tell you that I do!). They give you the chance to be in front of the camera with no time restraints or worry about how long you've been away from your guests and to work through all the little nerves and quirks that are inevitable. It also means you get to know me a little better and that I get to know you.
There's no pressure, just simply taking the time to look into each others eyes, to kiss (like you mean it) to hold hands, to chat and to laugh, gives me the greatest opportunity to see you, really see you, and maybe for you to fall in love just a little bit more.
