EMMIE JOY...

 It was a mild but cloudy spring day. We’d been up early as Kate was attending the awesome Welcome Home workshop in London and Jacob had to go to school. So with the normal traffic filled school run complete, myself and Emmie were left at what I guess you could call a loose end. What to do? Wanting to avoid the park and the battle of getting Emmie off the swing, I decided that a nice walk by the river and the treat of some sweets or an Ice cream would do us both good. Of course with the excitment of now officially being a partner of Kate Gray Photography, I had to grab my camera and take a few snaps. 
It seems pretty rare these days to have quiet, non-chaotic moments with the kids, but it’s moments on days like this particular Thursday that I treasure dearly. A quiet and peaceful stroll by the river, a packet of Polo’s (her choice!) and some time spent in sweet and simple conversation with my beautiful daughter. This is my first post to this blog, but I’m hoping there’ll be lots more to follow because this was the best ‘normal’ Thursday morning I’ve had in ages.
