WELCOME HOME...

A couple of weeks ago I spent a day at the awesome Welcome Home workshop run by Emma Case and Pete Smyth. It was a day filled to the brim with emotion! Tears, laughter and realisation. I think everybody in that room came away with the feeling that something, even if only small, had changed. It’s hard to explain the way I felt the few days after. It took a while to sink in, and it wasn’t until I read a comment on another unrelated post on Facebook that I realised what it was, something I had known all along this photography journey; It is, simply, that ‘people are special’. Life is special, and that really ALL I want to do is document that. Whether it be my own kids, someone else’s kids or someone’s wedding day. EVERY moment should be treasured because all too quickly, the moments are gone. If any of my photographer friends out there are considering doing the Welcome Home workshop. Do it. So that’s that. And here’s this, a little snippet of cuteness from the day. http://www.thewelcomehomeworkshop.com
