TWIN SHOOT - THE POWTON FAMILY

I’m finally getting around to posting some of the lovely families I shot over the summer, things have been pretty hectic so there’s a bit of a backlog! Hopefully there’ll be a few more beauties coming your way over the next week or so.

I met up with the Powton’s for a family shoot focusing on their beautiful twin girls back in July. They were such sweet girls and had a great time running around and climbing trees. Mum’s always say to me that they want to capture a phase, a moment, a snippet of how their child is today before it’s gone, but it’s so hard when they grow so blooming quickly! Sometimes I wish I could just put them on pause, and I suppose a taking picture is the closest you can get to that.

I had a lovely email from the twin’s Mum after seeing the images - “I was very excited when I saw your email come through and even more so when I saw the photos!! They are absolutely fabulous. We are thrilled to bits with them! The real issue is going to be how to choose!!”

A WINDY DAY IN HENLEY ON THAMES - THE THOMPSON FAMILY

I met up with the lovely Thompson family a few weeks ago at the beautiful Grey’s Court in Henley. I’m not sure if it was forecast, but it was the windiest day!

I feel like all I ever talk about on my blog is the weather! but it has such an impact on the results you get from a shoot, that it seems important enough to mention every time! (plus I am British so what else would you expect ;-) )

I actually feel like we’ve had a summer this year, which is so nice for a change. I have to say though, i’m already looking forward to booking in more beautiful autumnal shoots, with it’s lovely soft light and gorgeous colours, it’s got to be one of the best times of year don’t you think… x

AFTERNOON TEA IN LINCOLN...

A few weeks ago I made the journey to a pretty little village just outside Lincoln to spend an afternoon with Tilly and Toby in their beautiful garden. I had such a lovely time capturing these two little beauties surrounded by all their favourite things. We had hobby horse races, collected eggs from the chickens, ate cake and drank tea - A perfect afternoon!

Emma, their lovely Mum commented after seeing the gallery - “WOW! Such beautiful images. You really seem to have captured our life in the garden. Really thrilled with the results”. 

I can’t ask any more than that :-)

A MARLOW WEDDING...

The beautiful town of Marlow, Bucks played host to Rebecca and Andy’s sun baked day. With guests galore, an army of bridesmaids and ushers, sweets, smiles and a big bunch of handmade touches (all created by the bride herself), it was a day of love and laughter for all; topped off only by the ushers impromptu dance routine worthy of a ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ audition!
