THE DOUGLAS FAMILY - ONE SUNNY DAY

We were so lucky with the weather when I met up with the Douglas family in Henley-on-Thames a few weeks ago. The light was bright and beautiful. 

The girls had a great time blowing a million and one dandilions! and messing about in the bluebells, it was a really fun session, and I think it shows! :-)

THE DAWSON FAMILY

It seems just as you start getting used to the sunshine, good old Mother Nature takes it away again! Luckily we managed to time it perfectly with the weather (avoiding the rain by minutes!) when I visited The Dawson family at their home in Surrey a few weeks ago. Just a short walk up the road took us to this beautiful bluebell wood, and the view from the hill on the way back was pretty lovely too!

I always love it when I get to photograph a family in a location that’s personal to them. It all adds to capturing a ‘moment in time’ and means the images are extra special when you look back. These are some of my favourite shots from our afternoon… x
