AT HOME WITH THE COWELL FAMILY...

I always love it when I get to meet a new family, and there’s something extra special about photographing new parents with their first child. I know from my own experience of having babies, that be it the first, second or tenth! (though I’m not quite there yet!) all newborns are amazing, but there is something undeniably magic about your first :-)
It was lovely to spend a couple of hours getting to know Lewis and his lovely Mum and Dad. He was a little star, no grumbling, just lots of wide eyes and smiles.
I have to admit, I do love photographing newborns, but three months is a great age. Still so tiny, but just starting to show a little slice of personality. Ooh, I could squidge him! :-)

EMMA & AL PRE-WED SHOOT

We squeezed thispre-wedding shoot in on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago and Im so glad we did. The light was a photographers dream, and just what I was hoping for - golden and perfect :-)
Every couple are different in front of the camera, for some (ok, most!) it takes a little bit of warming up! But regardless of the nerves, just look at the results.. beautiful! x

FEARNE

Two weekends ago, I headed out to Maidenhead thicket to snap Fearne in a bit of a vintage styley shoot that I’d been dreaming up in my head for a while.
I had borrowed the cutest little outfit from the wonderful British kids label ‘Marmalade and Mash’ and had envisioned a beautiful, warm sunshine filled morning in which to capture the clothes on my little model. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out exactly as planned. The sun refused to shine as bright as I’d hoped, and Fearne soon got chilly, resulting in emergency layers being added to stop the poor mite from turning blue! Luckily all was not lost, and I still managed to capture a pretty nice set of images that could almost fool you into believing we were heading towards summer… (almost!)
Check out the fab Marmalade and Mash website for beautiful home grown clothes for your little ones - http://www.marmaladeandmash.co.uk/
